Meet Your Speakers

Jane is the author and consultant for Valor Discipleship. She is an ordained minister and discipleship pastor with a calling to disciple, train, and teach others for the glory of God. Jane and her husband, Phil, have two adult children.

Debbie is a retired teacher and counselor and has been serving as the WOV leader for Encounter Church in Great Bend, KS. She has a heart for encouraging women in their spiritual walks to seek God for answers and know Him in a very real and personal way—that they can walk in the confidence of the hope they can have in God’s truth of the word no matter their circumstances. Romans 15:13

Phil has been an educator for over 25 years and co-authored the Men of Valor curriculum. With a Master’s Degree in Leadership and Administration, he has a passion for teaching and discipling men and seeing them find a deeper relationship with Jesus. He and his wife, Jane, have two adult children.

Stepheni is a 28-year-old mother of two (River & Willow). She and her husband, Zaid, live on a farm east of Ellinwood and love having a host of farm animals. She's an EMT for the Ellinwood Ambulance Service and loves the outdoors and photography.

Lori along with her husband, Homer, have been attending Hope Church since May of 2014. They have 2 grown daughters and 4 grandchildren who live in Jacksonville, Florida where they lived before moving back to Wichita. Lori retired in 2019 after 42 years with the Federal Reserve Bank and is now an Administrative Assistant at Hope and leads the Women's Ministry there. She has a passion for discipleship, leadership development and loves watching women grow in their faith with Christ!

Deanna is a wife, mother and stepmother to four grown children, and grandma to 9 beautiful grandchildren. She is a retired school teacher who spends her days living and working on a farm, gardening, reading, and pursuing the Lord. She is a member of First Christian Church Great Bend and a Women of Valor disciple.

Stephanie is the discipleship and connection pastor at Heartland Worship Center as well as the women’s ministries leader. She is entering her 9th year as a special education teacher. She has a passion to connect with others with Jesus in the center!
